The Karatay Museum, also known as the Karatay Madrasa or the Tile Works Museum, is one of the most significant historical landmarks of Konya. Considered a symbol of the city, the museum is located on Adliye Boulevard in the Ferhuniye neighborhood. Believed to have been built in 1251, the madrasa served as an educational institution for many years and is now open to visitors as a museum.

Constructed with Sille stone, the Karatay Museum stands out as one of the finest examples of Seljuk architecture, particularly with its impressive wall and ceiling decorations. Serving as the Tile Works Museum since 1955, the madrasa offers visitors the opportunity to closely examine historical structures and valuable examples of Seljuk tile art.
