Tlos Ancient City, one of the prominent settlements of the Lycians, is located about 42 km from Fethiye within the borders of Yaka Village. Situated on the slopes of Akdağlar, the region’s highest mountains, Tlos is an ancient city with a history dating back to pre-Christian times.

The city has been continuously significant since around 2000 BCE and retained its importance during the Roman and Byzantine periods.
