Dolmabahce Palace is an impressive structure built by Sultan Abdulmecit between 1843 and 1856, showcasing Baroque architecture influenced by Western styles. The palace served as a residence for six Ottoman sultans from 1856 to 1924, and was also used by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk between 1927 and 1938, where he spent his final days.
