← Back to list

When Konya and tourism are mentioned, faith and cultural tours are usually the first to come to mind. At the heart of these visits stands the Mevlana Museum and Mausoleum, one of Turkey’s oldest museums, serving visitors since 1926. As the resting place of Mevlânâ Jalaluddin Rumi, the site attracts great interest due to its strong spiritual significance.

In addition to Mevlânâ’s tomb, the complex also includes the mausoleums of Hürrem Pasha, Fatma Hatun, Sinan Pasha, and Hasan Pasha. Open to visitors free of charge every day between 09:00 and 17:30, the Mevlana Museum offers a rich cultural journey. Alongside its extensive collection related to Mevlânâ and the Mevlevi order, visitors can explore Ottoman-era manuscripts, oil lamps, and antique musical instruments displayed within the museum.
