Located about 5 kilometers from Avanos, Saruhan Caravanserai is one of the remarkable architectural works of the Seljuk period. Built in 1249 during the reign of Sultan II. Izzeddin Keykavus, the structure spreads across an area of approximately 2,000 square meters.

Constructed from the soft stones of Cappadocia, the caravanserai stands out with its impressive stone craftsmanship and monumental architecture. Carefully restored in 1991 in accordance with its original design, it now serves as a cultural and congress center. Today, Saruhan Caravanserai hosts various cultural and artistic events throughout the year.
